Hanoi Airport Bus

PUBLIC BUSES 

Location

You must walk to the bus station located 200 meters away from the airport gate.

Frequency & schedules

Buses run every 15 to 20 minutes from 05:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Routes

See below the public bus routes from HAN Airport: 

Route 07

This bus is always full of people, you might have to stand for an hour during the trip. It only runs from Terminal 1.

Stops: Noi Bai Airport – Thang Long highway – Pham Van Dong – Hoang Quoc Viet – Nghia Do park – Cau Giay transit station.

Route 17

This route only runs from Terminal 1.

The trip will last around 1h 15 minutes to arrive to the Old Quarter (Long Bien bus station). 

Stops: Noi Bai Airport – Phu Lo Soc Son – Dong Anh – Cau Duong – Nguyen Van Cu – Long Bien transit station.

Route 90

This bus runs from both terminals to Kim Ma and Nhat Tan Bridge. 

Route: T1 arrival hall (first floor) – Vo Nguyen Giap – T2 arrival hall (first floor) – Vo Nguyen Giap overpass – Vo Nguyen Giap street – Nhat Tan Bridge – Vo Chi Cong – Nguyen Hoang Ton – Lac Long Quan – Hoang Hoa Tham – Van Cao – Lieu Giai – Kim Ma – Number 01 Kim Ma.

BUS Express 86 

It is one of the best options to arrive to Hanoi Old Quarter.

Runs from Hanoi Station to Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, with more than 8 stops in between.

Schedule

From Hanoi Station 05:05 am to 09:40 pm.

From the Airport, from 06:18 am to 10:58 pm.

Frequency every 20/30 minutes.

It counts with free Wi-Fi connection.

Route: T2 arrival terminal (first floor) – Vo Nguyen Giap overpass – Vo Nguyen Giap street – T1 arrival terminal (first floor) – Vo Nguyen Giap – Nhat Tan bridge – Au Co – Nghi Tam – Yen Phu – Long Bien transit station – Tran Nhat Duat – Tran Quang Khai – Trang Tien – Le Thanh Tong – Hai Ba Trung – Ly Thuong Kiet – Le Duan – Hanoi Train Station

Fares

These buses ticket only cost 9,000 VND. 

Bus 86 is an exception since its price is 35,000 VND/pax (1.5 USD). 

Airport bus shuttle

This bus has 45 seat and runs by separate airlines. Right now, there are shuttle bus of Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar and VietjetAir.

Location

Passengers will be able to catch a shuttle bus right outside the arrivals exit gate:

- Terminal 1: Arrivals, first level, Hall C and E.
- Terminal 2: Arrivals, first level, West Wing and East Wing.

However, you may have to wait until the bus is full before it departs and don’t forget you have to take it at the domestic terminal.

Vietnam Airlines shuttle

This shuttle bus follows the route between HAN Airport and Quang Trung Street, in the city centre. 

Schedule

Running hourly every 30-45 minutes.

Location

Stop located at parking in front of Terminal 1.

Fares

Ticket is 40,000 VND one way.

Vietjet Air shuttle

This bus follows the route between Noi Bai Airport and Tran Nhan Tong Street. 

Location

Located in front of Terminal 1 gate in Noi Bai Airport.

Fares

Ticket is 40,000 VND one way.

Schedule

Running hourly, every 30- 45 minutes.

Jetstar shuttle

Passengers who fly with Jetstar have the option to take Jetstar shuttle.

Please note that on the way back to city centre, you can get off at many different stops along the route.

This bus route gets to Quang Trung Street.

Stop Located in parking in front of T1 gate in Noi Bai).

Fares

The ticket costs 40,000 VND one way.

Schedule

Running hourly every 30- 45 minutes.

Airport bus (or coach)

A cheaper way to travel from the airport to Hanoi is by using the airport bus (or coach).

Location

This buses depart from Noi Bai Airport to Quang Trung street station, three kilometers from Hanoi Old Quarter.

Fares

Ticket price is 40,000 VND.

Hanoi Airport Minibus

It offers door to door transportation from HAN Airport.

Fares

One way ticket is 22,000 VND for the Vietnamese and 32,000 VND for foreigners.
